![]() Members of Caesars Rewards who have previously visited Rio after late 2017 are eligible to receive a new Rio Rewards loyalty card. He explained that Dreamscape built the program after researching other rewards programs in the gaming industry, and came up with Rio Rewards to "stand alone" in terms of rewards and promos for Rio guests. Rio Chief Gaming Officer Kevin Sweet called the launch of the new rewards program an "important milestone" for the property. These perks encompass complimentary hotel accommodations and show tickets, the convenience of early check-in or late check-out, a monthly dining allowance, a daily assortment of exquisite wines, and an array of additional benefits. Rio Rewards provides a selection of four tiers, namely Rouge, Azul, Gold and Platinum, each presenting a distinctive set of advantages. The building was then leased back to Caesars, who operated it under a lease that was set to end earlier this month but instead expired in December. Dreamscape had previously bought the 2,522-room Rio from Caesars for $516.3 million in December 2019. In July, the Nevada Gaming Commission gave the green light to the acquisition of New York-based Dreamscape and its leadership, headed by founder and CEO Eric Birnbaum. Commencing on Monday, Rio unveiled its exciting rewards initiative, thereby rendering Caesars rewards cards ineffective within the Las Vegas property. After Caesars Entertainment relinquished control, the Rio Hotel & Casino wasted no time in implementing a fresh loyalty program. ![]()
